General Manager
My name is Coach Kel and I am the General Manager here at KickHouse Frisco. Finding martial arts was one of the most pivotal moments of my life. The discipline, humility, and values that I learned aided in the development and growth that made me the man I am today. I strive to leave a positive impact on others and help them realize their potential! Being an instructor is one of the most fulfilling things I've ever done, and I am both blessed and grateful for this opportunity!
Kickhouse is more than just a studio for Coach Ashley. “It’s about giving my members the opportunity to feel empowered and embrace their strength,” she says. “I’ve met so many incredible people and made many connections and it brings me such joy to see everyone on the mat improve and get stronger each time they attend a class.
Seeing them show up, ready to hit the bag and leave with a smile on their face makes me proud to be a coach at KickHouse."
"What does Kickhouse mean to me?
KickHouse means family to me. Since joining in June 2024, it’s transformed not just my fitness, but my mindset—thanks to the incredible coaches and inspiring members who’ve pushed me beyond limits I never thought possible. I had no choice but to work hard so I could become a coach and give back the same inspiration I feel every time I step on the mat."
“As a child, I was not only a witness of bullying, but sometimes a victim of such. It was through martial arts that I found the courage and confidence to not only stand up for myself, but be an advocate for others. I started this journey at the age of 12 studying techniques from Tae Kwon Do, Karate, Boxing, Wrestling and BJJ. I eventually fell in love with Muay Thai and Kickboxing which led me to pursue a professional career in combat sports at only 18 years old.
My athletic career has given me the opportunities to travel all over the world and although it was cut short due to an unfortunate accident, I now thoroughly enjoy my passion for coaching by sharing my knowledge of martial arts and fitness to others.”
"I got my start in MMA but transitioned to Kickboxing after moving to Dallas. I live a sober active lifestyle; you will find me rock climbing, swimming, or hiking when I'm not at work. My coaching philosophy focuses on honing the fundamentals while trying to push the boundaries of what we think is possible for ourselves. Let's Kick It Soon!”
